Ain't that good? commisions, casting copies of the Hellboy statue made by :iconskinnydevil: and learning to sculpt in wax for future projects, i even found time to make myself a new workbench to store all my new tools and dangerous chemicals. The good thing about been working with Alex is that we kinda see things on a similar way, so we already have a bunch of stuff to do next year...it's gonna be awesome....

let's see if i understand: the mold is going to be filled with wax, right? what are you using for the mold itself? silicone? if you want to try wax just go to a jewelry supply store and as for wax, that's how i got mine, now i am waiting for some Dim Wax i ordered online at [link], check the site, you might find something interesting. Take pictures! and then send them to me :P. cheers buddy.

Yea, I have time again. And damn I will sculpt!
I thought I make a wax verion of the katana of my ninja, but the I realised that it would be good for the detail and the shape, but without a core it propably wont be able to stay in one piece. SO no wax copy now, but though I will rise again!
Allready made preperations according t your video btw. This time I will sucseed! :D

just use a metal core, like a wire, that's what i did to put together the head and the torso of my latest female sculpt, also i put a wire on the head to start the pony tail, just ideas, now get back to work! :D, Take care Rob :peace:

is it possible to place such a wire inside a moldform when I pour f.e. wax in it? Or can you advice this approach. If not, I think I managed a halfway ok version of a katana in plasticine-clay with a cardboardcore. WIll be uploaded when its kinda finished.

hola mr pancho!
le agradecería un dato para encontrar imágenes de referencia como las que se usan para modelar figuras, esas tipo plano, con las proporciones y todo, me entraron ganas de esculpir bustos, asi q una del craneo sería ideal. Saludos!
